Here’s a comment that I received recently from someone who calls themselves “AW” that I couldn’t help but republish…
First let me say I am licensed to do hair, but I do nails not hair…just putting that in because I have the training and know the skills…but trust me you don’t want me doing your hair lol.
Keep in mind I have short and very straight hair
About 2-3 years ago while working at a salon the owner bought 3 instylers, I maybe used it once or twice, I know I did borrow it for a trip. It was ok, nothing wow about it, nothing negative either.
Fast forward to about 2 months ago…getting a little bored with the hair, yada yada….I’ve thought about getting the instyler a few times, but the price kept putting me off since I already had an arsenal of hot appliances. One day on a whim with a few extra $$ in my pocket, I purchased my instyler.
It’s as if the hair gods bestowed magical styling powers upon me….I am Sooooo happy I finally bit the bullet and bought it. I love it, and I love how my hair looks and the style stays in all day or longer.I do have to warn you, I think for
about 2 weeks straight I burned myself with it. It did come with a little plastic do-dad that you can put on it to somewhat avoid that….
I also wish there was a slightly smaller barreled one, I think I may have seen somewhere that they did make one….I’ll have to keep an eye out for that one ….I highly recommend the purchase, just be aware and be careful about burning yourself!
I hope that maybe this comment will help some of you to take the plunge and do your hair a favor!
PS – Instyler has recently started aoffering a model with a smaller barrel.
